Location:
We are located in the town of Fredonia, New York on the banks of a steelhead stream which is about a 45 minute drive west from Buffalo, NY.

Studio Tours:
Oil paintings, watercolors and prints found in over 20 museum collections and in national fly fishing magazines are available for viewing or for purchase.

Local Airports:
Buffalo International Airport, Buffalo, NY (major airport), Jamestown Airport, Jamestown, NY (regional) or Dunkirk Airport, Dunkirk, NY (local).

Car Rental or Airport Pickup:
Rental car is available at airport or pick up available for $200 round-trip from Buffalo Airport (45 minute drive each way and includes tolls). Taxi service is also available from A – Cab (716 -366-8888) for $120 for up to 4 passengers each way.

Season (open/closed):
Fall season – October 5 – January 15 / Spring season – March 15 – May 1

Equipment Provided:
Orvis rods and reels along outfits, flies and rigging

Equipment needed:
Layers of polarfleece and polypropylene, chest waders, studded boots with felt soles or sticky rubber, breathable rain jacket, polarized glasses, fingerless gloves, baseball cap or cold weather alternative,  New York State Fishing License (Can be purchased online and printed on your computer or at our local Walmart before the trip), and camera (although we will provide a CD or Dropbox folder of images from the trip).

Water Fished:
Cattaraugus Creek, Chautauqua Creek, and several secret streams

Type of Fishing:
Wading streams/ Fly- Fishing/ Catch and Release

Gamefish Available:
Steelhead, brown trout and an occasional salmon

Average Seasonal Fishing Conditions:
September- October; 50-70 degrees, November-December; 30-50 degrees,
January- February; 30-45 degrees, March- April; 30-50 degrees

Deposit Policy:
Nonrefundable 50% deposit due at time of reservation. Deposit will only be returned if conditions are unfishable as determined by guide.

Daily Fishing Hours:
Varies depends on available daylight during season.

Where client is met:
At guide’s residence/studio located at 211 Chestnut Street, Fredonia, NY or at client’s hotel, inn, etc.
